FOOD

Mexico City is not short of good food. In fact, we didn’t cook at all during our stay because the prices are so reasonable and the restaurants were too cool to pass up! Here were some of our favorite spots:

@lardomexico for shared plates. The food and the ambiance was so good that we came back 3 times during our 2 week stay
@contramarmx for the best seafood lunch (get the tuna tostadas)
@panaderiarosetta for delicious coffee and pastries
● Raku for coffee and brunch with a Japanese flair
@rest_quintonil for a fancy date night (they were just voted #27 on the San Pelligrino list
@maximobistrot for the most beautiful ambiance
@_niddo for healthy and delicious lunch
@balcondelzocalo for an incredible view of the Cathedral
@pujolrestaurant for the staple Michelin restaurant in town
@fiftymils bar at the Four Seasons for the fanciest drink in town
@masalaymaiz for a most interesting mix of flavors from its fusion of Mexican, East African and South Asian cuisine.

I lost count of the number of tacos consumed! The best ones we’ve tried were at:
Orinoco
El Califa
El Balcón del Zocalo
● Food stand in the courtyard of El Bazaar Sábado
