● For the easiest experience, book a driver for a private tour in advance
● If you like to do things the hard way like me, you can rent a car and drive from Paris or take the train to Reims and Uber around
● Book the big winery tastings in advance as they book up quickly. Some good ones include @champagnepommery @ruinart @veuveclicquot @champagnetaittinger but be aware that these are very commercial and often have a rushed tasting in a closed room after the cellar tour. For a more custom tasting experience, book at a smaller house like Chateau Comtesse Lafond
● Our favorite part was visiting @domainelescrayeres for lunch or even just a drink in their beautiful bar. They have a 2 Michelin star restaurant Le Parc that was absolutely worth the experience but also a very well rated more casual restaurant Le Jardin
● If you have time, drive from Reims to Epernay to see the famous Avenue de Chamagne and visit other iconic spots like @moethennessy or @perrierjouet
● Last piece of advice, make sure to drink water with all your champagne!
